Sean Madden (Saturday and Sunday) currently works as a counselor in the Byron-Bergen school district. As a counselor, he has worked with kids of all ages for over 20 years in schools and mental health centers. As an artist, his detailed pen and ink drawings and paintings have been published in the U.S., the U.K., Australia and Canada. As a jazz guitarist, he has entertained kids and adults in schools and coffeehouses. His character, Vito the Pig developed while Sean was entertaining kids in classrooms, long walks, and car rides. The story Vito and the Magic Bread naturally followed, and was a big hit with teachers and children as soon as they read it. Sean’s artistic and musical sensibilities developed while growing up in North Buffalo, New York. His lifelong love of children’s books developed in his neighborhood library, and was rekindled when he had two kids of his own. These days, he spends his time drawing and painting incessantly, playing guitar, and writing new Vito the Pig adventures! This nostalgic rock-it ride through the 20th Century explores the rock-and-roll business from the inside out, from barrooms to world tours, from family love to ruthless killers. As the village unites, and as Fuzzy blasts to world fame, the residents learn to overcome prejudice and find lasting peace.
