Dr. Konstantin Frank is the pioneer grower of Vitis Vinifera in the eastern United States. Dr. Frank’s Ph.D. thesis was on the subject of growing Vitis Vinifera in a cold climate. To that end we are continuing his legacy with now the third generation; Frederick Frank and Eric Volz - his grandsons, to provide you with the best possible grafted vines for your vineyard.

We have the largest selection of rootstock specially selected for cold climate growing conditions. In addition we have selected clones of Vinifera varieties that have survived the test of 30 years of subzero winters. Our wines made from these clones have won countless awards in both national and international wine competitions.
