Gold Dr. Frank Leaf

The Burg Days of SUmmer

Join Resident Sommelier Jason Ferris as we look back at classic vintages of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Library Cellar of Dr. Frank’s.

We’ve reached deep into our vast cellar and acquired six rare and special wines as we explore Burgundy grape varieties grown in our estate vineyards.

In 1957, our founder Dr. Konstantin Frank first planted these Burgundian grape varieties on our Keuka vineyards. To this day, these original vines make up some of the oldest vines along the American East Coast.

Chardonnay Vintages: 2006, 2009, 2014.

Pinot Noir Vintages: 2005, 2007, 2013.

The guided educational tasting of the library wines will be paired with Burgundian-inspired creative small bites.

  • Halibut Mousse with flatbread cracker, caper, and lemon.
  • Local Greens with Chilled Chicken Roulade with prosciutto, gruyere, and roasted garlic aioli,
  • Wild Mushrooms with tarragon, cilantro, pine nuts, and pomegranate.
